dwindling in and out

almost like writing a play
as you strike that note
of hopes and desires
waiting to be inspired

yearning for a spark
to play that magic

new home to my memories

no more turning to dust

as the phoenix rises

treading footsteps
echo the sound
of silent innuendos
as thoughts fly away
like nectar dripping
invading my senses
where muses play

from imaginary thoughts
silence torments
from skin to bone
a tiring heart
this world has failed
to whisk apart
neither empty
nor full
immersing
in oceans of
expectations

some find peace
in fields
of stone

water droplets

ambrosia of love
so tough to hold

pressed in memories

the long road home
