My Baby Just Cares For Me…

mortals in motion

sometimes opposed

at times behind

often always

pompous

for their own glee

euphoria

with motives

but you

“sing”

and I observe

 listening to you

in sheer radiance

 I bathe in your

reflection

where I linger

as you tease

the sculptured

desires of my heart

slithers of touch

softly caressing

emotions of her soul

this fragile canvas

breathless with

memories of yesterday

today…tomorrow

these wounds

masking sacred petals

from her élan vital

matter no more

by the woe’s from

shrines buried deep

as the edge of love’s pivot

submerges her thoughts

in euphoric visions

of edacious desires

Beyond the Invisible

pendulous

 on a string

essence in black

innuendo’s of

nothing to be said

searching for that

 magic key to

euphoria

where the sun

sets every night

I aim my bow

against the sky

into the unknown

somewhere

out of sight

beyond the stars

in the black night

the arrows fall

my mind wonders

of what awaits

with frozen emotions

born out of pain

the rules of hope

the draw of a card

who can predict

what tomorrow brings?
