To “let go” does not mean to stop caring, it means I can’t do it for someone else.
To “let go” is not to cut myself off, it’s the realization I can’t control another.
To “let go” is not to enable, but to allow learning from natural consequences.
To “let go” is to admit powerlessness, which means the outcome is not in my hands.
To “let go” is not to try to change or blame another, it is to make the most of myself.
To “let go” is not to care for, but to care about.
To “let go” is not to fix, but to be supportive.
To “let go” is not to judge, but to allow another to be a human being.
To “let go” is not to be in the middle arranging all the outcomes, but to allow others to affect their own destinies.
To “let go” is not to be protective, it is to permit another to face reality.
To “let go” is not to deny, but to accept.
To “let go” is not to nag, scold or argue, but instead to search out my own shortcomings and correct them.
To “let go” is not to adjust everything to my desires, but to take each day as it comes and cherish myself in it.
To “let go” is not to regret the past, but to grow and live for the future.
To “let go” is to fear less and love more.
Louise Hay
Light of flickering candles
Golden glow all around
Illuminating my face
Closing eyes in this space
Soul searching for you
Soft whisper of movement
Even in my darkest despair
Is it me or do I even dare
Wild beating of my heart
Shocking in its rawness
Could you hold me my love
For you can show me how
I want to live in your love
Walk on the waters of life
Empty my soul in this dream
Hold me….Console me

I am so lucky to be able to attend Woman’s Empowering seminars on a regular basis, and cannot even begin to tell you what a wonderful and positive influence it’s had on my life. We live our daily lives, doing what we have to and so easily get despondent when things does not go our way!! What we have to realize is that by following basic steps and be thankful and kind towards others, will have a major impact on our lives. … most importantly, to talk and tell those people closest to us what and how we feel. If only we can truly see that we were born to SHINE in this lifetime….to really make a difference, to believe in ourselves, the world will be a better place.
THINGS TO SAY TO YOURSELF AND THOSE WHO MATTER
Thanks for everything you’ve done. – Say it to your mother, father, grandmother, or sister; whoever deserves it. Say it when it’s least expected and when it will make the most impact.
You’ve changed my life.
I need you.
I’ve only got one life to live. – This will give you tremendous motivation.
Nothing can stop me.
I love my life.
There’s nothing I’d rather be doing.
I can
I will
I have
I’m rich with love in my life.
I’m doing what I was meant to do.
I conquered my biggest fear.
Glad to help you.
I have all that I need.
I don’t care what people think.
I’m honest.
I’m going for it!
I’m proud of myself.
I’ve learned from my failures.
I have no regrets. – Many people believe everything happens for a reason. So why would you have any regrets?
I’ve never had more fun in my life.
You hurt me.
There’s more to life than this.
I love you no matter what.
I’ve accomplished a lot.
You’ve been successful.
I’m listening. – Sometimes it’s more important to listen than to talk.
I’m here for you.
Words can’t describe the way I feel.
I’m not giving up.
There is no place like home.
It was a pleasure to talk to you.
I have all the time in the world.
I need a hand.
You’re my best friend.
I’m glad you were here.
I’m just going for it.
I can’t thank you enough.
I’m trusting my inner feelings.
I follow my own path.
What a wonderful world.
I take full responsibility. – Own up to your mistakes, people will respect you.
I came, I saw, I conquered.
I haven’t said enough.
I’m not afraid
LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE TODAY!!!
When I started this blog 4 months ago, I did not know what I was going to write about. All I knew was that I had so much in my heart and soul to share. I also did not know that there are people (in the blogosphere), with such strong emotions and love, and would become a part of my daily life…a friendship that will grow and lift my spirits every single day…with beauty, joy and such grace!! I am talking about YOU, YOU and YOU!!
The respect, warmth and love in our community blows my mind every single day! We have not met face to face, we live miles apart, we have our own lives to live…yet…we come together here and share our hearts which makes the world we live in a better and happier place. I want you to know that I treasure every single one of you, your friendship is my greatest gift, you put laughter in my eyes, you are my pillar…and your friendship and encouragement means more than I can ever put into words.
Jingle has rewarded us with so many AWARDS before, (thank you for all your love and support Ji) and want to share each and every one with YOU!!..If you are HERE, please go to my AWARDS PAGE, pick what you want, because YOU deserve them. We recently had the beautiful Pink Award sent to us…I received it back over and over again!! That is how much love there is. Thank you for making me feel so special and to YOU who has sent it back. I am honored and proud to be among such talented writers and poets.
I wanted to write
I got YOU
I wanted a minute
I got YOU
I wanted Love
I got YOU
I wanted an angel
And got ALL of YOU
Thank you…from my heart.
I would tell you that I want to go to the beach for a while
I want to sit on the sand, just staring into nothing
Play with my feet in the sand, let it run through my hands
Feel the wind playing through my hair
If I could share my heart with you right now
I would tell you that I want to go for a walk in the mountains
I’ll walk slowly, breathing the fresh air deep into my lungs
Feel the rays of the sun on my body
Shouting out loud to hear my own echo
If I could share my heart with you right now
I would tell you that I want to go for a walk in the rain
I want to feel every drop on my face and body
I want to look up to the clouds, close my eyes and just stand there
Let it rain and wash all over me
If I could share my heart with you right now
I would not know where to start
I’m just sitting here
I’m just staring into nothing
Inspired by a dear friend
You have never met me
Only upon a page
You stalk me from afar
We’re not on the same par
Slowly spinning your web
You came with a smile
I thought you had style
Instead a victim on a pile
I don’t know your reason
For this is all just confusion
Your paranoid imagination
Tedious without hesitation
I broke the line, still can’t see
All I want is to be free
But you keep following
In your sick mind wallowing
STALKERS DO!!
I am sure you will agree that there’s few things in life more frustrating than picking up the phone to try to sort out a problem these days! You start by dialing the number for customer service, only to be given 20 options to choose from. The automated voice starts rambling so fast which totally confuse me but I have to make a choice. I press the button and start saying a silent prayer. “All the lines are busy, please hold on and we’ll be with you shortly”! Music plays in the background, ever so often the same voice recording will repeat that no-one is available and will be with you as soon as possible!
After about half an hour, you’re still waiting!! At this stage I’m starting to have cramps in my neck from trying to balance the phone between my ear and shoulder, my breathing becomes heavy due to my growing frustration and I’m dying for a pee! Suddenly a voice says, “My name is *Edward*…how can I help you”? Finally…you got through…someone at last will be able to help!! You give the detail of who you are (identifying yourself is a whole new chapter in itself), ONLY to be told that you chose the wrong option, you have to hold on again while they transfer you to the right department!!
What do you do? You can’t slap, strangle or kick someone on the other side of the line….I can slam the phone down but that won’t help solving my problem. What happened to good old service the way we used to know it?……. Sorry, I can’t help you!!!!
