unity of two souls
now a distant thought
dwindling in and out
my soul the clavier
your words the keys
almost like writing a play
as you strike that note
of hopes and desires
waiting to be inspired
all alone in the dark
yearning for a spark
to play that magic
song of the heart
two souls united
never to be apart

drift, flit, run – to me

sometimes opposed
at times behind
often always
pompous
for their own glee
euphoria
with motives
but you
“sing”
and I observe
listening to you
in sheer radiance
I bathe in your
reflection
where I linger
as you tease
the sculptured
desires of my heart

nebulous depth
sipping droplets of your love
brittleness of life

flashbacks of you
I browse endlessly
through the pages
of my memory
inquiring all of you
in the luminous light
of the silver blue moon
I find many an angel
but
it’s your eyes I’m seeking
your mouth, your hands
and through the window
the Southern Cross
caresses the night
and in her light
I find you

on the empty pillow
beside my own

hiatus of thoughts

mimic thoughts
through my fingers
on paper
received by my soul
driven by how
you read my words
once dormant
then direction

reflection of you
and my words
suddenly
get wings
to fly

silence torments
from skin to bone
a tiring heart
this world has failed
to whisk apart
neither empty
nor full
immersing
in oceans of
expectations

some find peace
in fields
of stone

water droplets
against the glass
twilight gloaming
ambrosia of love
so tough to hold
the walls of my heart
pressed in memories
between the pages
of a forgotten book
pictures in my mind
the long road home
