our silhouettes
just
contours
parallel profiles
casting shadows
on a barren wall
and in my dreams
I try to shape
figments
of you and me
now an illusion
slowly fading
turning to ashes
in the memory
of my soul
where I embrace
fate’s devoir
awaiting that melody
